Howard Homes - Homebuilder, Havelock, New Bern, NC

The goal of this site is to get visitors to contact Howard Homes about building a custom home or purchasing a new construction home.

I produced this site according to the client's design specifications using colors from existing marketing materials. I designed the structure of the website so that it would be easy to navigate and intuitive to users. Including floor plans and photographs entices clients with the possibility of what their future home could be.

GrandmaPete.com - Family Website, Goldsboro, NC

The goal of this website is to share memories and celebrate the life of my great-grandmother.

The design is inspired by the family photo albums of my grandmother. The photo corners speak of a different time. The design is clean and simple and include multi-media materials. I have received numerous thank-you's from family members and people who knew her. This site is interesting to all people as it records a life very different from the ones we lead today.

Offutt Officers' Spouses' Club-Non-profit Organization, Bellevue, NE

The goal of this site is to share information and create a better understand of the club's function and operation to the constantly fluxing membership.

I wanted the design of this site to exude a patriotic and elegant feeling. The flag comes from a beautiful picture that my husband took of the flag flying over the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I was able to take an unorganized mess of printed material, interpret it, and anticipate what the club would need to maximize the benefits of having this website.

Wyatt Builders, Inc - Homebuilder, Havelock, New Bern, NC

The goal of this site is to get visitors to contact Wyatt Builders about building a custom home or purchasing a new construction home.

I was inspired by the architectural details that Wyatt Builders offers and chose the columns to reflect those kinds of details. This client was very hands off and was able to simply send me the materials and I took care of the rest. I like being able to do that for clients, so they can take care of their business and not worry about their website.

Martha's Favorite Things - Antique Store, New Bern, NC

The goal of this site is to get visitors to go the store or to contact the owners by phone to inquire about specific items they are looking for.

Edward Ellis - Author, Havelock, New Bern, Raleigh, NC

The goal of this site is to get visitors to buy the author's book. Secondarily, the site offers information about the History of Havelock and Craven County.

The design was inspired by the wood carving print that the author used for the cover of his book. Much of the structure and layout of the site was decided by the client.

In addition, I did a copy edit of the client's book before it went to print.

Wendy Bryant Gow - Image Consultant, Wardrobe Stylist, Professional Organizer, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, NC; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY

The goal of this site is to get visitors to hire Wendy for image consulting, wardrobe styling, professional organizing, or one of her many other fashion and coordinating talents.

The design of the site was based on Wendy's unique square, blue, and brown business card. I assisted Wendy with the content development to help her explain what types of services she offers.

I also did some copy editing on Wendy's fashion articles for the News & Observer.

"I received an email from a writer for MSN.com in regards to an article she is writing. She found me by going on line and looking up image stylist or something to that effect. She said of those that popped up she was most impressed with my website and decided to contact me as a result. I told her that her compliment would be forwarded on to my web designer. Two in a row and still counting. I've had others compliment the site since it opened as well.

Mary is a lady who knows what she wants. I produced the site according to her specifications and choice of colors. I helped organize her abundant content. She now maintains and updates it herself. *Please note: It no longer reflects my original design parameters.*

Along Came Mary - Mary Snelson - Personal Assistant and Concierge, Atlanta, GA

The goal of this site is to get visitors to hire Mary for one of her many personal concierge services, such as: personal shopping, running errands, gift shopping, house sitting, pet sitting, etc.

This website was already constructed when Mary hired me to optimize her site for search engines and to make suggestions to boost her visibility on the internet. This project is in progress.
